Ethel Anna Keck Jones age 85 died Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the Country Inn Enhanced Living Center Paulding, Ohio.
She was born on December 7,1931 in Marshall, Michigan the daughter of the late C. B. (Ted) and Allene (Williams) Shreve. After her Mother’s death in 1934, Ethel was adopted by Forest (Tom) and Reva (Williams) Bradford.
She graduated from the Oakwood High School in 1950. On December 2,1959 she married Chester Keck, who died on April 9, 1985. On December 12, 1992 she married Clifford Jones Sr., who died March 24, 2005. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church where she was a pianist, served on the church board and the Lady’s Aid.
Surviving: a son Jeff Keck and a daughter Susan Keck both of Paulding, Ohio, step son Paul (Carolyn) Jones of Latty, Ohio, one sister Ellen (Lee) Leeper of Hicksville Ohio and a brother David Shreve of Seattle Washington, many Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, step mother Ethel Shreve, husbands Chester Keck and Clifford Jones Sr., a brother Theodore “Ted” Shreve, sisters Joanne Wendt, Viola Bradford, Loretta Eppleman, Viola Herman, adoptive parents Forest “Tom” and Reva Bradford, two step sons: Clifford Jones Jr., Marshall Jones and two great grandsons Derrick Gebhart and Daniel Ploughe.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM May 31, 2018 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church located on County Rod 151 Grover Hill, Ohio. Pastor David Prior will officiate. Burial will follow at Little Auglaize Cemetery Melrose, Ohio. Visitation will be at the DenHerder Funeral Home Paulding, Ohio on May 30, 2018 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday morning one hour prior to her funeral services at the church.
