Divine Mercy hosts Wax museum

The 3rd and 4th grade class at Divine Mercy hosted a Wax Museum exhibit on April 26th in the church hall. For about 5 weeks, the students researched someone who had contributed to the world in some way. They wrote a report and made a tri-fold presentation of their famous person and created a Google slideshow. On the night of the event, they dressed as their character and became exhibits in a Wax Museum. As patrons placed tickets in a cup at their station, they ‘came to life’ and delivered a speech in character filled with the important facts. Each child delivered their speech over 60 times in the hour long event! They all worked hard and learned about research, public speaking, report writing and much more! We hope to make this a semi annual event.
