Lutheran Health Network Regional President and CEO Mike Poore was among a group of special guests at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital for the official signing of the Levels of Care Bill SEA 360.  According to an advisory distributed by the office of Governor Eric Holcomb, the bill requires the Indiana State Department of Health to certify levels of care for mothers and babies at hospitals and birthing centers.

Governor Holcomb was joined by the bill’s author, state Sen. Ed Charbonneau, its sponsor in the house, state Rep. Cindy Kirchhofer, and State Health Commissioner Kristina Box, MD, for the ceremony.

“We are excited to support an effort that will impact in a very positive way the standards of care Hoosier hospitals provide for our youngest patients and their mothers,” said Poore.
