There is no reason to assume the game was an easy triumph for the home team (Raiders). It was a tough match and both teams were pretty equal. it wasn’t until the last couple minutes that the Raiders expanded their lead.

The half ended at 20-20 when Wayne Trace posted a last second shot at the buzzer.

The third period was also close. Wayne Trace had gained an 8 point lead, but near the end they gave it up to the Panthers with a score of 30-28.

Gracie Gudakunst came in with 3-point baskets in the first half and now was adding to her roster of points with multiple field goals giving herself 14 on the board. Kaylee Shepherd also had several good rebounds and then points which gave extra support for the team that ultimately won the match.

In the fourth quarter, the Lady Raiders were on fire! They pressed and it was successful. Both teams were having issues with fouls, but Wayne Trace turned those into points from the line each time. 20 out of 26 free throws were made by these girls — over 1/3 of the points from the line!
