Harry W. Molitor Sr.

ANTWERP, OHIO

Harry W. Molitor Sr., age 91 died Tuesday, October 31 at his residence.

He was born May 24, 1926 in Paulding County, the son of the late Honora E. (Coughlin) and Rudolph J. Molitor. On May 15, 1946 in the St. John the Baptist Church, he married Dorothy Jean Witt, who proceeded him in death on February 12, 2004. He was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Payne; a lifetime farmer; a member of the Paulding County Sheriff Posse and later the Reserves. He raised Quarter Horses.

He is survived by three sons, Mike (Donna) Molitor, and Pat (Sue) Molitor, both of Antwerp, Harry (Robin) Molitor Jr., Paulding; three daughters, Monica (Ed) Etter, Ft. Wayne, IN, Rita (Bob) Burkley, Payne, and Ann (Stan) Feasby, Antwerp; 23 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and another expected soon; and his dogs, Ginger, Edy, Rex, and Reggie.

He is also preceded in death by a grandson, Zeb Molitor, and a brother, John Molitor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11 AM Monday, November 6 at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Payne With Rev. Joseph Poggemeyer officiating. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Payne.

Visitation will be 2 – 8 PM Sunday, November 5 with a rosary service at 7:30 PM at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made to Masses or Community Health Professionals/Hospice of Paulding County.
