Essen House Gets Update

West Bend employees work to install the new sign at the restaurant on Friday evening.

The Essen House Restaurant in Antwerp, Ohio recently installed a new sign. They have been working on a new layout for the sign with a designer in California, Maura McCarthy. The sign was manufactured by West Bend Printing in Antwerp. Essen House Manager, Sharon McLaughlin recalled how her customers helped her with ideas for the sign.

Once the sign design was completed the files were sent to West Bend Printing for production with a corrugated aluminum substrate for extra weather resilience. West Bend Printing (419-258-2000)
replaced the wood sign that had been in place for over 10 years with the new one. “This looks great,” said Sharon, “This really matches the look of the building.”

The Essen House Restaurant not only serves the residence of the Van Crest of Antwerp assisted Living facility but is also a restaurant that serves the community authentic Amish style cooking seven days a week. They have a large selection of menu items or a buffet with several seating areas. For more information about Essen House call 419-258-1606.
