The Camp Palmer staff and board are very thankful for a $12,000 grant from Bryan Area Foundations for the new high ropes project at camp. Other recent grants for this project have also included: $2500 grant from Defiance Area Foundation, $2500 grant from North Western Electric Trust Round Up and $500 grant from Midwest Electric Community Connection. 4-H Camp Palmer, Inc. serves youth from eleven counties in northwest Ohio and many groups from across the state, Michigan and Indiana.  The new high ropes course scheduled for full completion by spring of 2018 replaces our original course that was built in 1990.

4-H resident camps will begin their 70 year of operation at 4-H Camp Palmer during the month of June and July. Eleven Counties in northwest Ohio including: Allen, Auglaize, Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, Williams and Wood County offer 5 day, 4 night camps for youth ages 9-14 years of age. Registrations are taking place at the respective 4-H Extension office of your county; non 4-H youth are welcome to join in for these camps.
