Wayne Trace Club Offerings

Wayne Trace JH-HS recently began offering clubs to all JH-HS students.  Research indicates that involvement in a club has many benefits.  For example, they allow students to interact with others who have common interests as well as provide opportunities to work with a group of people toward a goal.  Clubs also encourage the use of leadership and real-world skills.  Additionally, clubs provide a sense of belonging which might improve the students’ perspectives of the school environment.  Furthermore, though we acknowledge that the primary function of schools is to provide an academic environment, we also believe that a well-rounded education should include time for enjoyable experiences.  Overall, clubs tend to enrich both the social and academic skills of students who are involved.  A sampling of the clubs offered are:  Books, Chess, Creative Writing, Fashion, Debate, Movie Appreciation, Photography, Sewing, Small Engine Repair, etc…..  All photos attached were taken by the Photography Club.
