The Lady Archers traveled to Elida High School for the first game of Regionals on Wednesday, November 2. Previously, Antwerp defeated Hicksville and Pettisville at Defiance for the District Championship.

Norwalk St. Paul High is a private school from the other side of Columbus. The game started around 7:30 PM and the Lady Archers took an early lead after Saint Paul Ladies took the first point. The lead was short-lived at around seven when the St. Paul girls were able to grab nearly a 10 point streak.

Antwerp was just completely overpowered by these ladies due to their height and jumping abilities combined with intense training and formations. The Lady Archers are not used to this kind of play, but they still did a great job. It takes a lot to make it this far in the tournament and the ladies deserve everything they’ve earned. The St. Paul girls were able to block the many hits from Antwerp girls.

Coach Paul Stoll and all of the girls deserve a big round of applause for how great of a season they had. Congratulations and to the Lady Archer’s volleyball team!
