Dear Friends and Spirit of Woodlan Supporters,
The Spirit of Woodlan Marching Band has earned a once in a lifetime opportunity. Our State Representative, Marlin Stutzman, has chosen the band to represent Northeastern Indiana and East Allen County Schools in the 2017 Independence Day Parade in Washington D.C.
Our children have worked incredibly hard for this opportunity. Due to their dedication and commitment to music, they were able to overcome the odds and advance to the Indiana Marching Band State Finals in the 2015 season. However, the nearly 20-year-old uniforms are in disrepair. To properly represent the state of Indiana in the Independence Day Parade, they need to look their absolute best. We are looking for your support to help us reach the goal of purchasing new uniforms.
We must fund at least 100 new uniforms with the ultimate goal of $30,000. Any amount you can donate will help fulfill the dreams of our children. Your contribution will go directly towards the purchase of new uniforms. All contributions in excess of the uniform goal will be strictly used to benefit the marching band. The donations are needed no later than January 1st of 2017.

Come And See The Show – October 18
On October 18th, the Spirit of Woodlan marching band will be performing this year’s show, “The Pyramids of Egypt” at Woodlan High School.
A FREE meal will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the FREE show starting at 7:00 p.m. Please join us in supporting the Spirit of Woodlan Marching Band and all of their hard work.
(The rain date will be October 20, same time, same place, same price, FREE)
