New Haven Defeats Bellmont

On Friday, September 30th, the last day of September, the New Haven Bulldogs played against the Bellmont Braves. This was no ordinary game for the Bulldogs, as this was their homecoming. Representing their home school, New Haven had to maintain their undefeated record.

Starting strong, New Haven quickly took an early lead, scoring two touchdowns in the first quarter. The Bulldog defense was also on point, as they prevented the Braves from scoring any. However, going into the second quarter, New Haven slowed down, only scoring a single touchdown. Bellmont gained a little footing, scoring a field goal before half time. At half time, the score was 21-3 with the Bulldogs holding the lead over the Braves.

Coming back from the half, New Haven kept it coming strong, adding two more touchdowns, but only scoring one of the points after. Bellmont also scored their first touchdown. In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs brought in three more touchdowns, while the Braves couldn’t manage even one. The game ended with a final score of 55-10.
