Charles D. Rodman

HAVILAND, OHIO:

Rodman, CharlesCharles D. Rodman, age 81 died Monday, August 1, 2016.

He was born July 2, 1935 in Paulding County, Ohio the son of the late Leo and Augusta (Humbarger) Rodman. On December 27, 1955 he married Bonnie Tope who preceded him in death on February 19, 2015. He was a US Army veteran, a farmer and the owner/operator of the former Rodman Enterprises. He was a member of Country Chapel United Methodist Church; Flatrock Masonic Lodge #580; Grange where he served as Master for several years; and Scott Lions Club.

He is survived by three children: Charlene (Jon) Friesner, Van Wert, Shelly (Albert) Bartoch, Salem, IN, and Renee (Tim) Hall, Cambridge City, IN; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

He is also preceded in death by his siblings: Robert Rodman, James Daulton, George Jenkins, and Alice Gordon.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Wednesday, August 3 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Burial will follow in Blue Creek Cemetery, Haviland.

Visitation will be 9 AM until noon and 1 pm until time of service on Wednesday, August 3 at Den Herder Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations made to the church, Scott EMS; or Flatrock Masonic Lodge #580.
