Virginia M. Lee

Antwerp, Ohio

Den-Herder-Funeral-Home-Paulding-Ohio-OHVirginia May Lee was born in Alicia Arkansas to Hubert Franklin and Beulah May (Hamilton) Johnson on November 27, 1938.

She was raised by her grandparents in Cave City, Arkansas after the death of her mother.  On January 9, 1958 she married Robert E. Lee who preceded her in death 27 days before her.

Both of them are sadly missed by their daughter, Karen R. Lee (Dale Jividen) of Antwerp, and son Randolph “Randy” Lee of Ft. Wayne Indiana; her dog, Odie; two half sisters, Margie Hodges, Alicia, Arkansas, and Edith Anderson of Sercy, Arkansas; her friends and wonderful neighbors; and in-laws, all of which had a special place in her heart.

Ginny loved to quilt, read and research genealogy.  She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the UAW.  She retired from Dana Weatherhead in 1998 after 30 years of service

She is preceded in death by a brother, Paul Leon Johnson; two half sisters, Joyce and infant Vivian; and one half brother.

 

Funeral services will be conducted 6 PM Thursday, July 7 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding.

 

Visitation will be from 4PM until time of services on Thursday at Den Herder Funeral Home.

 

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
