The Woodburn Christian Children’s Home hosted a past resident on Thursday, June 9. This family brought in talent! A concert was performed by John Cullimore and his family. It was a fun hour for the kids and adults alike. John’s family lives in a Christian Village in Tennessee. They have sung in churches and performed concerts and next year even have a tour scheduled. John himself lived at the children’s home off of Notestine Road for several years while in junior high and part of high school, attending Woodlan. He realized how vital it is to raise his family up in Christ and how important his time at WCCH was. House parents, Dave and Kendra Smith, were the home keepers then and they continue to this day to serve the Lord by helping children who need it the most when parents aren’t able to. They had a great time meeting with their former resident. It was very good to see not only his family, but this “family reunion” come together. How powerful of an impact it was to see how our actions can impact others.
