Woodlan Graduate Honored in Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame

Lori Hissong KnoblauchLori Hissong Knoblauch, a 1991 graduate of Woodlan High School, was honored on April 30, 2016 at the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in New Castle with a banquet following in Indianapolis. Lori was named to the silver anniversary team.

Lori helped lead her Woodlan team to four conference championships, three conference tourney titles and one sectional title. She was named ACAC Tourney MVP three times, AAU all-tourney and Academic all-state. Lori scored 1,576 career points and tallied 339 assists, remaining the school’s all-time leader in both categories.

Lori went on to play at Saint Joseph’s College where she still holds the records for highest free-throw and three-point percentages. Lori is currently a controller at Hallmark Home Mortgage.

Lori resides in New Haven with her husband Gene and sons Connor and Carter. Her parents are Linda Moore of Harlan and Charlie Hissong, Jr. of Fort Wayne. Grandparents are Darlene Burrier of Harlan and Charlie and Katie Hissong of Leo.
