Patients of Mercy Defiance Clinic’s podiatry department will see a new, yet familiar, face beginning this month. Dr. Jonathan Rohdy, long-time physician in the department, is taking over for Dr. Finerty who recently retired. Dr. Rohdy has been with the department since 2004 and is happy to continue the care of Dr. Finerty’s patients.
Dr. Rohdy specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of foot disorders, as well as wounds of the lower extremities. He is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. Dr. Rohdy is also a fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association.
“Dr. Rohdy brings excellent experience to the department, especially on the wound care side,” said Chad Peter, Mercy Defiance president and CEO. “Not many people think of wound care when they think of podiatry, but it’s a key service that the department provides. It’s important to us that patients have access to high-quality wound care, right here in Defiance.”
