Sheriff Update: Body Found ID’s As Tracy

(Supplement to Rochester Cemetery Death Investigation)

Identification has been made in regards to the man’s body found at Rochester Cemetery last evening. The body is that of Frank H. Tracy, Jr., age 47, of Paulding, Ohio.

Preliminary results on the cause of death involving Mr. Tracy were also released by Paulding County Coroner Joseph Kuhn. According to the Lucas County, Ohio Coroner’s Office (where Paulding County’s autopsies are conducted), Mr. Tracy was killed by a single gunshot to the head, with the manner of death being homicide.

The cause of death regarding Hannah Fischer, who was found dead on February 9, 2016, in the Village of Paulding, has also been released by the Coroner. Fischer died as a result of a single gunshot to the head, with the manner of death being homicide.

“My office will continue to press forward investigating this crime in conjunction with the Paulding Police Department. We believe these two cases are related, and we will now focus our investigation as such,” said Sheriff Jason K. Landers.

cemetery“There is no evidence that links the death investigation of Wilma Schwartz, found dead on March 14, 2016, on the Indiana-Ohio State Line Road, to the investigation involving Fischer and Tracy,” said Sheriff Landers.

This investigation continues.
