Antwerp took on Fayette in the final game of sectional volleyball playoff Thursday, October 22 at Antwerp.

The game began with Fayette hitting hard against the Archers, taking the lead much of the match. Antwerp came back several times with slams by Rachel Williamson and spikes by Kiana Recker. Emily Derck and Peyton Short were always right there setting the ball for another hit. When the score hit 20, the Archers got their game back together and took the top score back from the Eagles.

The next two sets the lady Archers let the air out of the Fayette’s tires allowing them to only score half of the home team’s totals.

Antwerp in their fantastic season is now 18-5 and will move on to Districts in Defiance on Tuesday, October 27 at 8:00 pm against Pettisville, after defeating Edon.
