General Robert E. Lee and the Civil War Come to the Old Fort

The Civil War comes alive at the Old Fort. Experience demonstrations of period cooking, military procedures, games, and more. Watch battle reenactments, visit with soldiers, and remember a time that divided our nation. General Robert E. Lee will be present for the weekend, as will members of the 7th Indiana Cavalry who will demonstrate horseback fighting tactics.

The Fort will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, and 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 22.

The next weekend come and experience demonstrations of period cooking, military procedures, games, and more. Watch battle reenactments, visit with soldiers, and remember a time that divided our nation.

The Fort will be open to the public: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, and 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 28.
