Great News! Glass Recycling to Return to County Program

RecycleThe WMEA Program (Waste Management Education & Awareness) will be teaming up with Erie Recycling to bring glass recycling back to the county program. It must be rinsed out, caps off and separated into clear and colored bottles. This glass recycling endeavor will coincide with celebrating Earth Day on April 22, 2015.

The WMEA program continues to accept steel cans, aluminum cans, plastics #1 and #2, broken down cardboard, magazines, shredded paper, and junk mail (please separate all of these items into separate containers or boxes or bags.
See below the recycling schedule where you can bring your recycling.

First Saturday:
Grover Hill – Grover Hill VFW, 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Haviland – Haviland Park, 11:15-11:45 a.m.
Scott – Scott Equity, 12:00-12:30 p.m.
Erie Recycling – Paulding Fairgrounds, 9:00-11:00 a.m.; Cecil Village, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon

Second Saturday:
Melrose – Melrose UMC, 9:00-9:30 a.m.
Oakwood – Oakwood Park, 9:45-11:00 a.m.
Junction – Old St. Mary’s Church, 11:15-11:45 a.m.

Third Saturday:
Payne – Payne Ball Park, 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Briceton – Old Briceton Propane site, 11:15-11:45 a.m.
Latty – Latty Community Building, 12:00-12:30 p.m.
