Paulding Putnam Electric Co-op To Host 2015 Annual Meeting

PPEC building 2012Paulding, Ohio – Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative (PPEC) will hold its annual business meeting on Saturday, March 21st, at PPEC’s headquarters located at 401 McDonald Pike, Paulding, Ohio. The doors open at 9am with the business meeting beginning promptly at 10am.

Members will be treated to a free lunch and will hear an update on the state of the Cooperative from CEO/General Manager George Carter and President of the Board of Trustees, Dr. John Saxton.

All those members in attendance will receive a $10 bill credit (one per household). More than 600 members are expected to attend the 79th the annual meeting of the member-owned cooperative. According to CEO George Carter, “The annual meeting makes us unique in the electric utility industry. No other utility has member-owners. The annual meeting highlights that ownership. It also gives our members a chance to meet their CEO and board members as well as many employees that they talk to on a regular basis.”

Members of Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative are also encouraged to bring their family members. For those members unable to attend, PPEC  will have a live feed of the event. It will be posted to www.PPEC.coop. “We are very excited to host over 600 of our member-owners on Saturday, March 21st. This is one of the largest events held in Paulding County and we hold it in our own facility; which makes it even more special,” Carter added.
