Garrett A. Kever

Garrett A. Kever, 67, of Antwerp, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Gary was born in Monroeville on July 4, 1947, a son of Patricia (Gremaux) Kever and the late Meinrad Kever.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War & was a  car inspector at Norfolk & Southern Railroad.

Gary was a member of the Antwerp American Legion Post & a Cub Scout Leader for many years.

On Nov. 21, 1970 he married Rosalie Miller.

Gary will be sadly missed by his wife, Rose; mother, Patricia of Antwerp; children, Jason (Jessica) of Toledo, Jeffrey (Kate) of New Haven, Jan Michael (Brenda Caulfield) of Antwerp & Jennifer Flaherty of Defiance; siblings, Michael & Pernetta both of Antwerp, Rita (Tom) Turk & Matthew both of New Haven & Cecelia (Dave) Mabee of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren & 1 great grand daughter.

His siblings, Cecelia Marie, Christopher & Linda & granddaughter, Tyler preceded him in death.

Funeral Mass is at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Antwerp, at 10 am on Wednesday.
He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, with military honors.

Viewing is Tuesday 2-4 & 6-7:30 pm & Wednesday, 9-9:30 am at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.

A Catholic Vigil & Rosary service is Tuesday, 7:30 pm at Dooley Funeral Home.
