This is the first game since the Van Wert Classic last week and hit happened to also be the first game at home. The Golden Bears travelled down from Bryan for the competition.

Even though the girls basketball team lost the two games in Van Wert, this one appeared to come easy to them, from their hard work, and putting their record at 1-2.

The JV began the night, handing a powerful defeat to the guest team at 47-22.
Following that, the varsity was fired up for the first quarter and doubled the score of the Bryan team. Brianna Sinn led three point baskets for the Lady Raiders with 6 points from the cheap seats.

The second quarter was once again led by the home team, adding 26 points to board, the best yet for the season.

The score leaders for the Lady Raiders were Danae Myers and Shayna Temple with 14 and 16 respectively.

The third and fourth quarters continued on, with the Wayne Trace girls holding a consistent 20 point lead. The JV team came back in for varsity experience play in the second half the fourth quarter and still performed admirably even though the Lady Bears cut the difference a little.

All the girls had a great night for the first home game of the season.
