Woodlan Ends Tournament After Great Run

Bremen travelled quite a ways to take on the Warriors now that 75% of the Indiana football teams have been eliminated over the last three Friday night tournament games. This game started a little late because of the distance.

The first quarter was all for Bremen with two touchdowns. The first by Grant Klockow and the second by Rom DePalma. Bremen’s third touchdown was by Klockow and the Warriors were down by 21 before posting anything to the board. At seven minutes left in the half Woodlan finally added points. Mitchell VanBrocklin ran 12 yards after the team pushed their way down the field into Bremen’s territory and Quentin Graber picked up another point with the kick. The half finished 21-7.

The game didn’t get much better for the home team while Bremen added the next touchdown. VanBrocklin added one more touchdown in the third quarter and one extra point by Graber.

The fourth quarter Bremen picked up one more touchdown and finishing the game 35-14.

This game Bremen clearly dominated on the stat sheet. Total rushing was 365 vs 232 yards. Woodlan had two passes intercepted while Bremen had two fumbles picked up by the Warriors.

Top offensive players for Woodlan were Mitchell VanBrocklin, Shawn Kitzmiller, Rick Ehle, and Alec Evans. Top receivers were Treven McCarter, William harding, Alec Evans and Herm Rorick.

Herm Rorick had 8 tackles followed by Shawn Kitzmiller 6, Jerimiah Cassell 5, Hunter Louden 5.

Woodlan finished the 2014 Football season 8-4, and the best season Woodlan has experienced in years. Great job!
