Update: The plane that crashed between Grover Hill and Wayne Trace High School appears to have been flying from Iowa to Findlay according to a local pilot who has tracked information based upon a missing plane. The course began at 4 pm and ended around 6 pm in an untimely fashion. At nearly 5 pm it appears, by the timeline, that corrections were being attempted, showing there may have been a problem even at that time.

The four passenger plane known as a Cirrus, began to lose altitude in it’s final descent at 5:51 pm, dropping 500 feet in one minute according the Chicago Airport Authorities from 10,200 feet. The plane continued to drop over the next seven minutes until it was lost on the radar. The last reading was at 5:58 pm before tracking was lost, at 5,900 feet.
