Todd W. Fritcha, 50, of New Haven, died unexpectedly in a work related accident Friday, February 28, 2014. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a member of Grace Gathering, New Haven. Todd was a heavy equipment operator for Fritcha Construction since 1982. Todd loved his God, his family, and his friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Lynna; children, Matraca and Zachary both at home; mother, Diane Fritcha of New Haven; siblings, Teri (Steve) Lake of Fort Wayne and Troy (LeAnn) Fritcha of New Haven; in-laws, Leonard and Marquita Mattes of New Haven; sisters-in-law, Lynette (Art) Augspurger of Fort Wayne and Michelle (Bill) Jordan of New Haven; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Fritcha in 2011.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Grace Gathering, 3157 Minnich Rd., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Pastors Chris Norman and Tim Smith officiating. Calling is also 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2014 and 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the church. Burial in Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery, New Haven.
