Sherri Anne Steffen, 71 of Fort Wayne passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi on December 15, 1942. Sherri worked in several states as a licensed practical nurse. She also loved to worked with ceramics and stained glass.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 45 years, Robert of Payne; son, Tim (Maria) of California; grandchildren, Danielle & Janiece; step grandson Jorge; siblings, Katherine, Jesse, Lewis, David & Kenneth.
Sherri was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Maggie (Hester) Rice; step parents, Roy & Olga Hipple; siblings, John, Trudy, Edward, Velma & Fred, Jr.
No ceremonies are planned at this time.
