Wayne Trace Girls took on the Delphos Jefferson on Tuesday, January 21 at the Raider home court. JV took to the court first with the Wildcats winning that match in a close 30-33 battle.

Parent’s night quickly followed the junior varsity competition, leading up to the main game.

The varsity game started with Wayne Trace’s Erin Mohr making the first basket. There is no way to describe this game other than the Raiders dominated the entire match. The first quarter was close and then Delphos went home early. 13-11 was the closest quarter and that ended the first. The halftime score was 24-13 with Wayne Trace in the lead. The Raiders were continually breaching the Wildcats defense with the team driving in baskets.
