Paulding Girls took on the Bluffton Pirates in the Monday night basketball matchup on January 13. The first quarter stung hard for the Lady Panthers, as the Pirates had the lead by more than three times the Panther score, ending it 17-5.

The Paulding coach, Lyndsi Schultz, had a serious talk in the time between quarters and it made a huge difference. The Panthers came back on the court and quickly raised the score and within a four minutes had the game back to a two point difference at 19-21. Shortly thereafter, though, the Bluffton girls had the momentum swing back to their side of the score board, finishing the half at 31-23.

In the third quarter Bluffton outscored Paulding once again and the pattern reversed once again with Paulding on top for the fourth quarter points. Even though Paulding had more points in the 2nd and 4th quarters, Bluffton finished the game on top with 54-63.
