The USA Team Ohio Snow Carvers team from Paulding County placed 3rd in the double block competition. Prize money earned from the intense event was $1000. It was in the world class snow sculpting contest held in Frankenmuth, Michigan last week. They competed against teams from the US and, Canada, France, Mexico and other various places. 
Our team consists of Eric Miller From Paulding, Kinsey Dobbelaere of Paulding Megan Dobblelaere, of Oakwood and Sandy Dobbelaere of Oakwood. They worked about an average of 14 hours a day and Saturday night we never slept judging was at 10 am Sat morning. We would start around 8:30 each morning About 150,000 people arrive in Frankenmuth for this event on Sat. They have been doing this for ten years.
