ANTWERP – Crestview outscored host Antwerp 16-8 in the fourth quarter as the Lady Knights posted a 42-38 win over the Archers in non-league action last week.
The two squads were tied at 10-10 at the end of eight minutes of action before Antwerp picked up 13 second quarter points in taking a 23-17 advantage at the midway point.
Antwerp still led 30-26 at the end of three periods, but the fourth quarter belonged to the Knights as Crestview rallied for the victory.
Crestview was led by Paige Motycka with 19 points and Lyvia Black posted 13 for the Lady Knights.
Other scorers for the Van Wert County squad were Olivia Cunningham (seven), Ally McCoy (two) and Lexi Gregory (one).
Tiera Gomez and Heather Oberlin both totaled ten points for the Lady Archers with Hope Smith chipping in seven markers.
Karsyn Brumett had five for Antwerp while Rachel Williamson recorded four and Ashley Miller picked up two.
