\"police<\/a>Defiance \u2013 The Defiance Post of the State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash which occurred at 1:20pm on Saturday January 3, 2015, on State Route 111, north of Hammersmith Road, in Defiance county. A 2007 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Fred Justinger, age 78, of Defiance, Ohio, was southbound on State Route 111, lost control and traveled off the east side of the roadway. The vehicle then traveled down an embankment and struck several trees.<\/p>\n

Mr. Justinger was pronounced dead at the scene by the Defiance County Coroner. A seatbelt was in use by Mr. Justinger at the time of the crash. The crash currently remains under investigation by the Defiance Post of the State Highway Patrol.
