{"id":9909,"date":"2015-01-03T14:54:41","date_gmt":"2015-01-03T19:54:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/westbendnews.net\/autonews\/?p=9909"},"modified":"2015-01-03T14:54:41","modified_gmt":"2015-01-03T19:54:41","slug":"james-ricard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.westbendnews.net\/autonews\/james-ricard\/","title":{"rendered":"James Ricard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.dooleyfuneralhome.com\/obituaries\/uploads\/OI1199825327_JIMRICARDPHOTO.jpg?resize=210%2C267\" alt=\"\" width=\"210\" height=\"267\" \/>James Ricard<\/strong>, 85, of Antwerp, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.<\/p>\n<p>Jim was born in Toledo on May 6, 1929, a son of the late Flossie (Wensel) and Oscar\u00a0\u00a0Ricard.<\/p>\n<p>He was a railroad switchman.<\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 21, 1991 he married\u00a0\u00a0Deborah Altic.<\/p>\n<p>Jim and his unique sense of humor will be sadly missed by his wife, Deb; children, Thomas (Barbara), Robert, Daniel (Peggy), Timothy (Patty) &amp; Jamie Ricard, Irma (John) Hayhurst, Thomas (Sandy) &amp; William (Amanda) Barker, Pamala Echols &amp; Virginia Moyer; siblings, Irma Zing, Elderay Kustbach &amp; Gary (Mary); 27 grand kids; 25 great grand kids and a host of nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>Jim was also preceded in death by siblings, Geraldine January, Myrtle Dane, Marguerite Rogers &amp; Robert.<\/p>\n<p>His funeral service is at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp at 11 am on Monday, January 5th, with viewing one hour prior.<\/p>\n<p>Viewing is also Sunday, 2 to 5 pm at Dooley Funeral Home.<\/p>\n<p>He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Memorials are to St. Jude Children&#8217;s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.<\/p>\n<p>Condolences and fond memories may be shared at www.dooleyfuneralhome.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>James Ricard, 85, of Antwerp, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
