<\/a>Thomas E. Marlin,<\/strong> 90, of Antwerp, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 3 2014.<\/p>\nTom was born in Antwerp on October 16, 1924, a son of the late Anna (Reising) and Edward\u00a0 Marlin.<\/p>\n
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy in WW II.<\/p>\n
He was a\u00a0 farmer and worked at Zollner’s for 34 years; was a Carryall Township Trustee for 20 years, was a member of the Antwerp VFW & American Legion Posts, Payne Knights of Columbus, Sierra Club,\u00a0 Antwerp Rotary Club & Divine Mercy Catholic Parish.<\/p>\n
On June 20, 1953 Tom married Patricia Byanskie.<\/p>\n
Tom will be sadly missed by his wife, Pat;\u00a0 8 children, Mary Pat (James) Todd, Ann & Philip\u00a0 all of Fort Wayne, Stephen (Shelley), Anthony (Susan) & Daniel (Yvonne) all\u00a0 of Antwerp, John (Barb) of Ney & Christine (Dave) Blue of Hicksville; sister, Marianne (Harry) Cottrell of Antwerp; 18 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren.<\/p>\n
Funeral Mass at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Antwerp, at 10 am on Saturday, December 6th.<\/p>\n
Viewing is Friday, 2-4 & 6-7:30 pm with a Knights of Columbus, Catholic Vigil and Rosary service at 7:30 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.\u00a0 Viewing is also Saturday, 9 – 9:30 am at the funeral home.<\/p>\n
He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, with military honors.<\/p>\n
Memorials are for Knights of Columbus or Masses.<\/p>\n
