The workers and volunteers have put forth much effort to make this come together after the voters rejected a previous measure that would have made a permanent levy on taxpayers.<\/p>\n<p>The voters narrowly approved the lower tax by a 20 vote margin on November 4th.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/westbendnews.net\/autonews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Mark-Holtsberry.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-9103\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/westbendnews.net\/autonews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Mark-Holtsberry.jpg?resize=199%2C296\" alt=\"Mark Holtsberry\" width=\"199\" height=\"296\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.westbendnews.net\/autonews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Mark-Holtsberry.jpg?w=199&amp;ssl=1 199w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.westbendnews.net\/autonews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Mark-Holtsberry.jpg?resize=160%2C237&amp;ssl=1 160w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 199px) 100vw, 199px\" \/><\/a>Mark Holtsberry also won the approval of the voters with over 50% approval, while Georgia Dyson received 9.5% and Bob Burkley 38%.<\/p>\n<p>Paulding County Board of DD also had their levy approved by Paulding County Voters, while the OSU Extension\u2019s .15 mil was rejected by only 113 votes.<\/p>\n<p>The Village of Antwerp of Antwerp overwhelmingly approved the new firetruck purchase and the renewal levy.<\/p>\n<p>Grover Hill, Latty and Haviland voters both approved their renewal levys. Voters in Melrose approved all three of their renewal levies.<\/p>\n<p>Three townships had renewal levies up for vote.
