With the new US 24, US 30, 469 and I-69 so close, New Haven is the best location without having to drive through the city of Fort Wayne.\u201d Said Terry.<\/p>\n<p>Fedex already had a hub in New Haven but it had outgrown it and needed something bigger, better and automated. That\u2019s exactly what this facility provides.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5PgW5lVDVHo?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/div>\n<p>Jimmy Freeman, Senior Manager of the location said they opened on September 24. In the month since it opened there have been approximately 750,000 packages pass through the new facility.<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Etheredge, Fedex Ground Distribution Manager, said he was excited to see another facility open that was fully automated. He oversees operations of 16 hubs throughout Indiana, Michigan and northwest Ohio.<\/p>\n<p>Local businesses through the New Haven Chamber of Commerce contributed food to the event, making it a grand day.
