WASHINGTON, D.C. \u2013 Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH) today announced that he will hold three listening sessions for veterans throughout Ohio\u2019s Fifth Congressional District on Tuesday, May 27, following recent revelations about delays in care at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). These events are an opportunity for Congressman Latta to hear veterans\u2019 concerns and experiences with the VA, as well as any other issues they may be experiencing. Staff will also be on-site to assist with casework.<\/p>\n
\u201cRecent revelations about the VA\u2019s mishandling of veterans\u2019 care are absolutely unacceptable,\u201d said Latta. \u201cWe owe our veterans an enormous debt of gratitude, and we must do everything in our power to ensure they receive the care they have earned in service to our country. This situation demands immediate attention, and these listening sessions will provide an opportunity for me to hear from our veterans about the issues they\u2019re having with the VA, so we can rectify them as quickly as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
