Marcus Miller places third at the Regional Spelling Bee.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Marcus Miller recently finished first for Paulding County at the Spelling bee. He moved on to the regionals which took place Saturday, March 8 at the Rhinehart Music Center at IPFW in Fort Wayne. This annual event is sponsored by the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette.<\/p>\n

Mr. Miller was labeled as \u201c7\u201d in this education competition. There were 15 different counties represented in this competition with smart young people from all these locations. The spelling match continued the young people dropped out one by one as the rounds increased. By the 14th Round Marcus spelled incorruptible, souvenir, then periphery. Another was eliminated in this 16th round.<\/p>\n
