Johnson<\/b>, 92, died Wednesday December 26, 2012 at Manor House Assisted Living, Antwerp, Ohio.<\/p>\n<p>She was born on July 5, 1920 in Van Wert, Ohio, the daughter of the Roy V and Estella (Busch) Baxter.<\/p>\n<p>Ruth was a 1938 graduate of Van Wert High School.<\/p>\n<p>On November 30, 1939, she was united in marriage with Vernon M. Johnson. He preceded her in death on December 8, 2007.<\/p>\n<p>She worked at Dana\/Weatherhead, retiring after 30 years.<\/p>\n<p>Ruth was a life member of St. John Lutheran Church, Sherwood, Ohio. She was also a member of the U.A.W.<\/p>\n<p>Surviving Ruth are two sons- William (Judy) Johnson of Hicksville, Edward (Susan ) Johnson of Woodburn, IN; a daughter Julia Elaine (Darrell) Brown; seven grandchildren; (10) great grandchildren; two brothers-Richard Baxter, Gene Baxter; two sisters- Sharon Conley and Judy Carmichael.<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by an infant son; a brother Bill Baxter and a sister Janet Coffelt.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral services for Ruth will be Monday at 10:00 at Smith &amp; Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 at the funeral home.<\/p>\n<p>Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville.<\/p>\n<p>Memorials may be made to Worship for Shut-Ins or St John Lutheran Church, Sherwood.<\/p>\n<p>Online condolences may be shared at <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.smithbrownfuneralhome.com\/\">www.smithbrownfuneralhome.com<\/a><\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ruth M.
