Foust, age 61<\/strong> died Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the Hospice of NW Ohio, Toledo, OH.<br \/>\nHe was born July 4, 1952 in Defiance County, Ohio, the son of Glenn B. and Ruth V. (Woodring) Foust.\u00a0 He was a member of Cecil Presbyterian Church.\u00a0 He received his Bachelors of Science in Education at Bowling Green State University in 1975 and his Master of Arts in Education from Defiance College in 1994.\u00a0\u00a0 Jerry was employed for a short time for Fairview School, but spent the majority of his employment for North Central School System where he taught, History, Government and Social Studies.<br \/>\nHe is survived by his mother, Ruth V. Foust, rural Cecil, a brother, Marvin (Margaret) Foust, Oregon, OH, a niece Lisa (Steven) Dickens, Oregon, and a nephew, Michael (Niki) Foust, Chula Vista, CA.<br \/>\nHe is preceded in death by his father.<br \/>\nFuneral services will be conducted 11 AM Wednesday, January 8 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding with burial in Rochester Cemetery, Cecil.<br \/>\nVisitation will be 3\u2013 8PM Tuesday, January 7 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and one hour prior to services on Wednesday.<br \/>\nIn lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to Hospice of NW Ohio.<br \/>\nOnline condolences may be sent to www.denherderfh.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CECIL:\u00a0 Jerry L.
