I love my rich friends. Seriously I don’t regret anyone that has made money honestly. Most of my friends have more than enough to meet their needs and I am thankful for them.

I think in a way though we all have needs which are not monetary. Shouldn’t be too hard to find someone who is in need of companionship, or just someone to run errands for them. The story about the boy’s hand that was completely restored continues, as the man is now a lawyer for the Christian Legal Association.

They were the ones that brought prayer back into the schools and allow you to have religious classes during school time. The concept of thanking someone for allowing you to help them meet their needs was completely new to me. The doctor that did the operation has written several letters thanking them for allowing him to serve them.

The doctor and his team were completely exhausted by a grueling operation and turned around and provided help for a lawyer in need. The Bible doesn’t have any record of the man that was beaten up thanking the Good Samaritan. The Good Samaritan got his reward from helping the man that was beaten.

We have often heard the saying, “Tis better to give than receive.” This is the heart of the Christian message. Jesus came to be a servant. The key is Philippians 2:3. Think of others better than yourself. The Good Samaritan gave everything he had. He obligated himself to pay any bills that accrued by the man that had a need. Are we willing to give everything we have?

Rich men have only one thing to do with her money, and that is to give it away. They cannot keep it and everything they have will rot. Many of the richest that ever lived have given everything they have to meet the needs of poor people. The church exists solely to meet the needs of the people. There are many categories which include spiritual needs that the church needs to be aware of.

We have gone through a period where we rely on the government to take care of people’s needs and it just does not work. The individual that sees a need, and also the church that sees your need is obligated to give everything they have to help meet the need.
