Thursday, September 10th, kicked off the 56th World 100 Week at the historic Eldora Speedway for the DIRTcar Late Models. The top drivers from around the U.S. and Canada merge on The Big E and see if they can win part of the $680,200 purse. The World 100 Champion will take home $100,000.00 and every driver starting the 100 lap feature Saturday will get at least $5,600.00 to start the race. Most of the Lucas Oil Series and World of Outlaw series drivers will compete along with drivers from other series. Thursday and Friday after qualifying and heat races, there will be 2 prelims each night paying each winner $12,000.00. Unfortunately, at press-time on Thursday Eldora had a rain delay<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday, September 4th, Attica Raceway Park was hit by rain and making racing conditions unsafe. Two big events had been planned and were canceled. The Attica Ambush for the All Star Circuit of Champions 410 Winged Sprints and the Stephen Wagner Memorial for the DIRTcar Late Models. It would have been a big pay day; the Sprints were going to pay $7,850 to win and the Late Models $15049. The Late Model race will not be made up in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dustin Daggett swept the weekend features for the Great Lakes Super Sprints Saturday at Wiston Speedway in Rothbury MI and Sunday at Crystal Speedway. With good solid finishes both nights Max Stanbaugh won the 2026 Season Tour Championship for the 360 GLSS and the North Division Points Championship. In other Great Lakes Sprint news, Korbyn Hayslett won the Season Championship for the 410 Non-Wing Great Lakes Traditional Sprints and Justin Ward captured his 4th straight Great Lakes Lightning Sprint Championship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Great Lakes 360 Super Sprints return to Eldora Speedway, for the Annual 4 Crown Weekend. The three days will also include 410 USAC AMSOIL Sprints, USAC National Midgets, and USAC Silver Crown Cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feature winners at Angola Motorsports Park, Saturday, July 5th, Late Model Tony Dager, Modified Johnathon Gatton, Street Stock Tyler Clark, Modified FWD Derek Simon and Hornet Joshy Jones. The 2027 Angola Motorsports Park Schedule is posted on the track\u2019s Facebook page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Annual Hammer Down Showdown is set for Saturday, September 26th at Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon. This puts the Oakshade Dominator Stocks against the Fremont Trucks. The winner will get $1,000.00.
