At this week\u2019s Kiwanis meeting, members had the opportunity to hear from Jane Nice, Philip Rolsten, and Ken Kottenbrock, all board members of PPEC Operation Round Up. The speakers provided an overview of the program and highlighted its positive impact on local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operation Round Up allows cooperative members to voluntarily round their monthly utility bills up to the nearest dollar. While each individual contribution is small, the combined total creates a significant fund that supports charitable and benevolent initiatives throughout the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The board members shared personal perspectives on how these funds have made a meaningful difference in the communities they serve. They explained that the board meets monthly to review funding applications and thoughtfully determine how to allocate resources where they are needed most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
