Funds support the Trap\u2011Neuter\u2011Release (TNR) program which seeks to humanely reduce the number of community cats while increasing their quality of life.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Since its launch just one year ago in January 2025, The Kitty Hope Foundation has successfully facilitated the spaying and neutering of over 400 community cats in Paulding County!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The Foundation\u2019s efforts have been most recently supported by a generous $1000 donation from the Cecil town council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Why should more communities support this practice? Because Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) is the only method that has been scientifically demonstrated to work at reducing community cat populations over time \u2013 killing or moving cats has repeatedly been shown to be ineffective. The neutered cats are also vaccinated so they aren\u2019t contributing to either overpopulation or disease.
