September 11<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A domestic violence report was created at a residence in Frank Leinard Mobile Home Park. The officer responded and an adult male was arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 10:30 p.m., a resident reported that her ex-boyfriend left and stole her internet box. After investigation, it was determined he had taken the Mediacom box over a money dispute. He agreed to return the box if she returned $13. A report was sent to the prosecutor for review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

September 12<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A resident reported a water main break on South Washington Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A resident reported camera footage of boys (14\u201315 years old) appearing to carry a handgun. An officer determined they had an air-soft gun and spoke with the parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

September 13<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police assisted Antwerp EMS at the Marathon station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A motor vehicle accident was reported on Water Plant Drive near South Erie Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

September 14<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A resident found a bucket with two dead chickens at the ball park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

September 15<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police gave notice to a residence on N. Main St. of a nuisance violation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An officer gave notice to a residence on Daggett of a nuisance violation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A vehicle was stopped on Harmann Road for traveling 38 mph in a 25 mph zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A resident called the police department about divorce paperwork and court documents and was given the court\u2019s phone number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

September 17<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An officer assisted Antwerp EMS with a resident on Daggett Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

September 18<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A resident brought her 11-year-old son to the police for instruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A call came in for a missing juvenile from Payne. Officers searched the village; he was later found outside the village within the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A resident reported $12,000 missing from her Huntington, IN, bank account, believed to be internet fraud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

September 19<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An employee of a downtown business reported that their vehicle may have been struck while at work. The officer made a report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A resident of Park Avenue Villas reported that her water had been shut off. The officer provided the water department\u2019s number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

September 20<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A welfare check was performed on North Main Street; the resident was okay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A resident from Defiance reported that he may have dropped his wallet while driving through the village on his motorcycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

September 21<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An officer performed a golf cart inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
