For 50 years, First United Methodist Church Preschool has been a pillar of early childhood education in downtown Van Wert. This Christian-based preschool, serving children ages three to five, is excited to announce its upcoming Open House and ongoing registration for the 2025-2026 school year. \u201cWe’re where kids truly love to learn and discover!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located conveniently at 113 W. Central Avenue in Van Wert, First UM Preschool is known for its commitment to high-quality education in a nurturing Christian environment. The preschool\u2019s key features include being established and state-licensed for 50 years, offering a Christian atmosphere, maintaining low student-to-teacher ratios, and employing experienced, licensed teachers. They also provide flexible class options: a 2-day per week class for 3-year-olds and pre-kindergarten options for 3 or 4 days per week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Families are invited to the Open House on Thursday, August 7, 2025, with two convenient sessions: 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-7:30 p.m. This is a fantastic opportunity to tour the facilities, meet the dedicated staff, and learn about the curriculum, which follows Ohio Department of Education guidelines. Information packets and 2025-2026 registration will be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
