This year\u2019s fair not only honored tradition but also highlighted the bright future of Paulding County\u2019s next generation of leaders and agricultural innovators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The fair opened with Food &amp; Nutrition Project Awards on Monday, June 9. <strong>Caroline Miller<\/strong> earned first place in the beginner division with her \u201cEveryday Food &amp; Fitness\u201d project, while <strong>Kendra Manz<\/strong> claimed second place and also took top honors in the \u201cSnack Attack!\u201d class. <strong>Sophie Kessler<\/strong> impressed in \u201cTake a Break for Breakfast,\u201d and Owen Dangler led in \u201cLet\u2019s Start Cooking.\u201d Intermediate winners included <strong>Emma Miller\u2011White<\/strong> for \u201cSports Nutrition\u201d and <strong>Krandon Crites<\/strong> for \u201cLet\u2019s Bake Quick Breads.\u201d In the advanced category, <strong>Emma Stouffer<\/strong> received first place for \u201cCooking on My Own,\u201d and <strong>Alexandria Manz<\/strong> earned second with her \u201cGlobal Gourmet\u201d project. In intermediate categories, <strong>Brianna McClure<\/strong> won with her \u201cLoungewear\u201d creation. At the goat show, <strong>Hudson Miller<\/strong> was named Grand Champion Dairy Goat, with <strong>Allison Donaldson<\/strong> taking Reserve Champion and later earning Reserve Champion Breeding Goat as well. <strong>Jocelynn Parrett<\/strong> secured Grand Champion Market Goat, while <strong>Janae Parrett<\/strong> took reserve and swept two wether classes. Notable winners included <strong>Brianna McClure<\/strong>, <strong>Addison Clemens<\/strong>, <strong>Gabrielle Gurney<\/strong>, and <strong>Elizabeth Graham<\/strong> across showmanship and obedience classes. Other first-place finishers included <strong>Jordan Steel<\/strong>, <strong>Mara Phlipot<\/strong>, <strong>Garrett Goyings<\/strong>, and <strong>Tucker <\/strong>and<strong> Bristyl Stoller<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Equestrian events stood out as a major highlight of the fair. In Horse Showmanship, <strong>Delaney Johanns<\/strong> was crowned Champion of Champion, and <strong>Adelynne Slattman<\/strong> took Reserve. Senior ranch showmanship winners included <strong>Raeley Franklin<\/strong> and <strong>Gabrielle Gurney<\/strong>. Junior division top spots were earned by <strong>Luciana Martinez<\/strong> and <strong>Henley Wagner<\/strong>, while <strong>Ellie Roughton<\/strong> made strong showings in multiple classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Horse Pleasure and Performance events included standout performances from <strong>Delaney Johanns<\/strong>, who captured first place in Senior Ranch Riding, Senior Reining, and Senior Hunter Under Saddle. Johanns also claimed the top Equitation Horse\/Pony prize and placed second in the highly contested Versatility competition. <strong>Mara Phlipot<\/strong> took home Champion of Champion Pleasure, Champion of Champion Performance, and first place in the Versatility division, along with strong finishes in Snaffle Bit Pleasure, Open Longe Line, and Senior Western Horsemanship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Luciana Martinez<\/strong> showed exceptional poise with firsts in Junior Trail, Pony Pleasure, and Junior Ranch Riding, while also securing top-three placements in horsemanship and pleasure categories. <strong>Gabrielle Gurney<\/strong>, <strong>Henley Wagner<\/strong>, <strong>Gracelyn Elkins<\/strong>, and <strong>Makenzie Muir<\/strong> also delivered top performances across ground roping, trail, ranch, and English divisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Brynlee Stoller<\/strong> emerged as a top competitor in Open Longe Line, Junior Ranch Pleasure, and Junior Ranch Horsemanship, while <strong>Gracelyn Elkins<\/strong> impressed in multiple English and Western classes including Junior Hunter Under Saddle and Junior Ranch Pleasure. Rounding out the week, youth from every barn and arena earned recognition not only for their skills, but for their dedication, preparation, and the care shown toward their animals and projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The 2025 Paulding County 4\u2011H Fair once again served as a testament to the vibrant spirit and work ethic of its participants.
