Seven Fairview FFA members have earned the Ohio AgriBusiness Association (OABA) Agribusiness and Production Systems Certification for the 2024-25 school year. The recipients include: Jacob Ladd, Kayla Mavis, Kortney Grinnell, Summer Hiler, Addalyn Beardsley, Allison Beardsley, and Cheyenne Zeedyk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The OABA credential is a respected, industry-recognized certification that highlights student achievement in agriculture, agribusiness, and production systems. To qualify, students must be enrolled in a career-technical agricultural education program and complete four required courses that focus on core agricultural concepts and skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A key part of earning the credential is the completion of a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE). Each student must participate in a hands-on project outside the classroom, such as an internship, research project, or entrepreneurship experience, that directly connects to the agriculture industry. Students must document at least 500 hours of work on their SAE to be eligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
