This could be someone in leadership who is adept at leading and delegating, but a Gem is also someone who works behind the scenes so as not to call attention to their service of others. Most Gems go unnoticed by their community because their service is not for others to see, but their service is done merely as a sense of duty to their friends, family and neighbors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Antwerp Chamber of Commerce endeavors to find a true Gem for 2025. Who do you know that is a civic-minded person who has humbly made or is making the Antwerp community a better place? You know\u2026&nbsp;a real \u201cGEM?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Nominations are now being accepted for this prestigious award that will be awarded at Antwerp Days, on June 7th following the parade. Criteria for a nomination include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\u2022 Lives in the Antwerp School District<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\u2022 Contributed to the Quality of Life to the Antwerp community &#8211; either in the limelight or \u201cunder the hat\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\u2022 Has not previously received a \u201cGem\u201d award<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">That\u2019s it! Nominations may be found Gen Fed Credit Union, Antwerp Exchange Bank, Leland Smith Insurance, download a PDF from the Antwerp Chamber of Commerce website or their Facebook page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Return forms to the Leland Smith Insurance office.
