She was equally dominant with the bat, going a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate, including a double, and scoring two of the team\u2019s four runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antwerp (2\u20132) jumped ahead early with a two-run first inning and added insurance in the fifth and sixth. Hicksville made a late push with two runs in the seventh, but the Archers held firm to secure the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Freshman Taylor Hogans (#16) delivered under pressure, driving in two runs on a hit and a sacrifice fly. Senior Haydyn Lengacher (#4) chipped in with an RBI double, while senior Caroline Rohrs (#5) added another run-scoring hit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite committing four errors, the Archers\u2019 defense came up with critical outs, including shutting down Hicksville rallies in the middle innings. Hicksville\u2019s A.
